The amount for club membership is R360 which includes the ASA licence. The full process can be found at www.durbac.org.za/join. Age category numbers can also be collected from there.

Club Clothes

Running vests and t-shirts are available from Kloppers Sport, Cape Gate Décor Centre, Okavango Road/Tanner Street. New stock has just arrived so all sizes should now be available.

When you take part in an official WPA race or event please ensure that you wear a Durbac club running vest or t-shirt (with your licence number on the front and the back) and black shorts or tights.

Club Runs

*We are now following the winter training times.

Here is a basic rundown of Durbac’s Club and Pack runs:
On a normal week there are road club runs at 18.00 on a Tuesday and Thursday from Durbanville Golf Club with distance options from around 5km to 15km as well as a beginners group.

There is also a longer run of between 20km and 30km on a Sunday. The Sunday run starts at 6am during the summer and 7am in the winter months and routes are updated on a weekly basis through Facebook and Whatsapp. There is a R10 seconding fee for the Sunday run.

Trail runs are also organised every week and open to all members.

Wednesday farm runs, meet at 17:30 running at 17:45. Venue rotates between Majik Forest, Meerendal, Altydgedacht, Bellville Golf Course and Vodacom World of Golf. These runs are suitable for all runners, from experienced trail goats to avid roadrunners. As these are pack runs we regroup regularly (also an excellent way to catch your breath). With enough groups there will surely be one to fit your level of fitness and trail comfort.

Twice a month the team arranged pack runs, usually on a Sunday. These are more serious trails in some of the most beautiful mountains and nature around the Cape, but we still cater for all likes of runners by having different packs for different capabilities. Just watch Facebook for the next adventure – and come and enjoy some seriously fresh air in nature!
Full details for club runs can be found on our website:(https://durbac.org.za/runs/#club-runs) and are updated via our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/120182161408859/) and Whatsapp group (https://chat.whatsapp.com/BbbHXgfc4KSAAh38q5RCEJ).
